Homeopathy is now an officially recognized treatment in many European countries. In England, for example, it is included in the social security system and even the royal family shows a special preference for homeopathic treatments.
In France and Germany homeopathic remedies are contained in official pharmacy codes, in Italy, the Netherlands, Finland and at several US universities, it is even taught as a subject in medical schools. In Greece it is taught as an elective course at the School of Pharmacy of Athens, at the Medical School of Democritus University in the field of Dermatology, and as a postgraduate course at the University of the Aegean. It has also been announced by the Medical Association of Thessaloniki, that “homeopathy is a medical practice and should be applied exclusively by doctors.”
