Mesotherapy is one of the most modern, effective and safe treatments that Aesthetic Medicine has to offer today. It is an innovative technique of cell regeneration and renewal, which can give a completely natural result to the facial features without the patient having to go through the threshold of surgery. Specifically, this is a treatment that serves the part of prevention and fight against wrinkles.
Affecting our skin!
Mesotherapy, as the word itself reviels, targets the mesoderm, ie. the “middle layer” of the skin. This is the treatment through which we try to repair the damage caused by the effect of time and environment on the architecture of the skin cells.
In the middle layer of the skin, the dermis, there are cells called fibroblasts which are responsible for the production of specific structural proteins of the skin: collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. These three substances are macromolecular compounds that are in the form of protein chains, intertwine together and eventually form the tissue that we recognize as skin.
With age, fibroblasts degenerate and decrease in number, resulting in thinning of the skin, losing its volume and firmness. As the structural proteins of the skin are extremely hydrophilic molecules, their loss as a structural component of the tissues leads to an image of dehydrated, thin and brittle skin, with a predisposition to create fine wrinkles or atrophy points as well as the appearance of deep folds on the skin.
To achieve the function of regeneration, skin cells, need vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, enzymes, coenzymes, trace elements and amino acids, ie substances that when used in combination with each other have a high anti-aging effect on tissues.
This is where Mesotherapy comes into play. Using special preparations that contain substances with proven anti-aging and regenerative action.
In this way, we succeed in enriching the immediate cellular environment with substances valuable for the regeneration and remodeling of the skin cells. The result is that the skin looks refreshed, more radiant, healthier and more fresh.
