Cellulite

Cellulite

DIAGNOSTIC TEST, STAGEING AND CELLULITE TREATMENT:

Cellulite is the deposition of water and fat between the skin and the subcutaneous tissue. It is due to poor perspiration and swelling of fat cells in the specific area of the body that appears. The connective tissue loses its elasticity and the skin presents an image that looks like orange peel.

Cellulite strikes the vast majority of women, regardless of whether they are underweight or underweight. Clearly, the accumulation of local fat favors its appearance or worsens its condition.

Cellulite usually occurs on the thighs, buttocks, stomach, abdomen, calves and inside the arms. It is attributed to sedentary lifestyle, reduced physical activity, poor diet, circulatory or hormonal disorders, heredity, smoking, frequent and high alcohol consumption. The term cellulite is rather unfortunate, since it is not an inflammation but a deposit of “stuffed” fat cells in various parts of the body.

It is caused by poor local perspiration, which results in the fat cells of that area not being well nourished. So instead of rebuilding and burning fat, the body sends it to be stored in those fat cells that need it most to be fed. This abnormal accumulation of fat leads these fat cells to increase in volume, thus compressing the blood vessels, if they block the exchange of substances and if they aggravate the problem of microcirculation.

The most common signs of its occurrence are:

In women it occurs more often and in more parts of the body (buttocks, thighs, abdomen, knees, chest).

Cause:

• sedentary life

• reduced movement & physical activity

• heredity

• disturbed blood circulation

• hormonal disorders

• presence of obesity

• bad nutrition

• smoking

• Increased & daily consumption of alcohol, caffeine & soft drinks

• constipation

Causes of cellulite can also be pathological: liver dysfunction, endocrine disorders

There are already three cellulite, which determine its severity:

Stage A cellulite, also known as ‘loose cellulite’ [low grade, visible only after ‘pinching’ the area]
Stage B cellulite, also called ‘edematous’ [moderate, visible only in an upright position]
Stage C cellulite, the most advanced form of cellulite, is called ‘solid’ [high-grade, evident in both standing and lying position]

Mesotherapy and cellulite

Mesotherapy treats the problem by targeting fat cells. The cocktail of vitamins and antiperspirants internally improves the skin, enhances local circulation and helps mobilize fat.
